Why the price you see may change

Each exam has a list price and, when a promotion is running for you, a sale price. While the promotion runs, both are shown together — the list price crossed out beside the sale price — so you can always see which one you are being charged. When no promotion is running for you, only the list price shows.

• Prices differ by exam. A Series 63 pass and a Security+ pass are not the same price, because the exams are not the same size.
• A promotion is per person, not a site-wide sale with a shared deadline. If yours has ended, you pay the list price — and the crossed-out number you saw earlier was real, not decoration.
• Promotions can run again. A promotion ending is not a permanent move to list price — but we do not publish a schedule, and nobody at Capital Prep can tell you when the next one will reach you. Buy when the price in front of you is a price you are happy to pay.
• Upgrading from one pass to a higher one is always priced off the sale price, and you pay only the difference.

The price that counts is the one on your Choose your pass screen at the moment you check out, and the amount on your receipt. Prices quoted anywhere else — including in this article — are not offers.

If the price you were charged is not the price you expected, do not guess and do not let a bot guess for you. Email support@capitalprep.com with the date, the exam and the amount, and a person will look at the actual charge.
