Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. What we collect
- Account info — your email (and name, if you provide it) when you sign up, including via Google or Apple sign-in.
- Study activity — your progress, answers, flashcard reviews, highlights, and readiness data, so the app can track your prep and personalize it.
- Payment info — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage & device data — basic analytics and error logs to keep the product working and improve it.
2. How we use it
To provide and personalize the Service, process purchases, send transactional email (like sign-in links and receipts), provide support, prevent abuse, and improve Capital Prep. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the product — for example our hosting, database, authentication, email, payment, and analytics providers — under agreements that limit their use of your data. We may disclose data if required by law.
4. Your choices
You can access and update your profile, export your data, and delete your account from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your personal data, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
5. Data retention & security
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed for the purposes above. We use industry-standard measures to protect it, though no system is perfectly secure.
6. Children
Capital Prep is intended for adults preparing for professional exams and is not directed to children under 13.
7. Changes & contact
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. Questions? Email support@capitalprep.com.
