When your pass expires

The 7-Day Pass and the 30-Day Pass run for a fixed stretch from the moment you buy. Lifetime does not expire at all.

The exact moment

A duration pass ends at 11:59 PM Pacific, and the clock always rounds up to the end of that day. Buy a 7-Day Pass at 9pm and you are not left with six days and three hours — you get the seventh day in full. Your pass badge shows the date it runs to.

What happens after

Nothing is deleted, and nothing is charged. The pass simply stops opening the paid material:

• You keep your account, your highlights, your notes, your flashcard schedule, your progress and your readiness meter. All of it is still there.
• You keep the study guide, which is open on the free trial and stays open.
• You lose the full question bank, the scored mock exams, the other flashcard decks, the mnemonics and the paid tutor allowance until you buy again.

Getting it back

Buy again from your exam's Choose your pass screen. Everything you did before is waiting — you never start over. If you expect to keep studying for a while, Lifetime is the one that stops this happening again, and it is the only pass that carries retake reimbursement.
