Every answer shows its sources

Two ways, and they work together.

• Links inside the sentences. The link's text is the name of the section it points to, not a bare number, and each section is linked once — on its first mention. Six mentions of the same section do not become six links to the same page.
• A References list at the bottom of the answer, numbering every section the answer drew on, with its title.

Tap either and the guide jumps to that passage — the same page if it is in the chapter you are reading, otherwise straight to the right chapter and section. On a phone the chat tucks away so you can read, then comes back where you left it.

If you want to check something, that is how: the citation is the book, not a summary of the book.

How many questions you get

• On the free trial: 3 messages a day.
• With a paid pass: 50 messages a day.

Both are daily allowances on a rolling day — there is no lifetime total, and tomorrow you have the full amount again. The gauge in the panel header shows where you are ("2 / 3 today"), and when you reach the limit a strip tells you when it resets.

What spends one: asking a question, tapping Try it out or a popular question, using a follow-up button under an answer, and regenerating an answer in another tone. What never does: reading, searching, the study guide itself, and opening old chats.

Two devices at a time

Miles can be open on two devices at a time. A device you have used before is always let back in; a third new one is asked to wait. Close the chat on one and try again in a few minutes — an idle device frees its place on its own. Nothing else in the app is affected.
