They're written to HSPA's CER content outline (revised May 2022) and weighted to it, so a mock is the same shape as the real thing: 150 questions and 180 minutes, across all seven sections. HSPA doesn't publish one. It sets the passing point by the Angoff procedure supplemented by the Beuk Relative-Absolute Compromise method, and its own handbook says "HSPA does not provide percentage scores" — you get pass or fail, plus a per-section band. The exam is written against HSPA's Endoscope Reprocessing Manual along with ANSI/AAMI ST91, the CDC's flexible-endoscope guidance and SGNA's standards, and our study guide covers that same outline in plain language. Some candidates like having the manual as a reference too — that's a fine way to go.
