Troubleshooting

Trouble signing in

Updated 2026-08-21

First, the thing that solves most sign-in problems: there is no password. Capital Prep is passwordless — you sign in with Google or with a six-digit code we email you. If you're hunting for a "reset password" link, you don't need one; just request a code.

"That sign-in code has expired." Codes last 60 minutes and work once. Enter your email again and we'll send a fresh one.

"That code is wrong." If you requested more than one code, only the newest email counts. Check you're copying from the most recent one, with no stray spaces.

"That sign-in didn't complete." Something interrupted the round trip — just try again from the login page.

Google sign-in showing an error? Try the email code instead — enter the same address as your Google account and you'll land in the same account.

"Too many sign-in emails in a short time." We already sent you one — check your inbox and spam for the latest code, or wait a few minutes and try again.

Signed in but your studying is missing? You're probably in a different account — sign out and sign back in with the email address you used originally (it's the one on your receipt, if you've purchased).

Code not arriving at all? See "My sign-in code didn't arrive."

Still stuck? Email support@capitalprep.com from any address, tell us the address you're trying to sign in with, and we'll get you in.
