Choosing, adding or switching your exam

Capital Prep currently offers six exams: SIE, Series 6, Series 7, Series 63, Series 66 (FINRA/NASAA), and CRCST (HSPA).

To switch or add an exam: open Account → Your exams. Switching changes which exam your dashboard, plan, and study surfaces point at. Adding an exam you've never tried starts its free trial.

Your progress is kept per exam. Switching away and back loses nothing — questions answered, flashcards scheduled, notes, and mock scores all stay with their exam.

One free trial per exam, ever. Each exam's trial can only be started once. If you had an exam before — as a trial or as a pass that has since ended — you'll see "You've already used your free trial for this exam," and studying it again means purchasing it. This is worth knowing before you switch just to have a look around.

Passes are per exam. Buying a pass for the SIE unlocks the SIE. If you're taking more than one exam, the bundles are usually the better deal — see "Bundles: the discount and what you get."
