What happens when my pass expires

A 7-Day or 30-Day Pass simply stops at the end of its clock. Nothing renews and nothing is charged — there is no subscription. (Lifetime never expires.)

Your work is safe. Your answer history, flashcard schedule, notes, highlights, mock scores, and streak are all kept. Nothing is deleted when a pass ends — if you come back on a new pass, you pick up exactly where you left off.

What locks: the study surfaces (questions, flashcards, mocks, the guide, Miles) close until you buy again. You'll see "Your pass has expired" — and your account page still works, so you can view your status and buy a new pass any time.

Two things worth doing before the clock runs out:

1. Upgrade while it's live. While your pass is active you can move up to a longer pass and we credit what you already paid — you pay only the difference. After expiry that credit is gone and a new purchase is at the current price.
2. Know your guarantee windows. Pass expiry does not cut off a SurePass claim — if you sat your exam while preparing with us, the claim windows are measured from your exam date and your purchase date, not from your pass's end. See "How to file a claim, step by step."
