PTCB reports a scaled score between 1,000 and 1,600, and 1,400 passes. Scaled scoring exists so that slightly harder and easier forms are treated the same, which also means it does not translate into a percentage of questions correct — so nobody can honestly tell you "1,400 is 87%". Our readiness meter and our mock target are our own measures, stated as ours.

PTCB sells two: the Pre-PTCE at $29 (or $19 bundled with your application), which is built from questions formerly used on the real exam and reproduces the testing interface, and the PTCE Practice Bank at $65, which is 300+ retired questions plus a 400-card deck on a 90-day subscription. Both are nonrefundable and neither carries a pass guarantee. They are worth having — their questions genuinely came off the exam and ours cannot claim that. They are also small and they expire, which is a different job from the one this does.
